NNHS Programming Club
Welcome to our website. Learn about our club below!
We're
a bunch of students with the common interest of computer programming, 3D
modeling, or computer science in general. Instead of programming locked up in our basements with
the curtains drawn and lights off, we get together at NNHS to collaborate on projects and
further understanding. Most importantly, we want to give NNHS students the opportunity to pursue
their CS interests. We have members who've been programming for years, and others for a few
days. No matter where you are, we'll have a spot for you.
The Tiger Insider website uses the
bootstrap CSS framework and silverstripe PHP for the backend. The club created some graphics to slap
on the website and hired a gfx artist online to create an article placeholder banner. We like to use
our own code, so bootstrap CSS was the optimal way in efficiency and creativity. Of course, like any
programming project, we had our share of keyboard-smashing moments.
We won't mention the name of this game, partly to protect our anonymity if any of our players find
out about this website. It's an action combat multiplayer fighting game. We used an object-oriented
version of Lua and blender. The physics engine used was roblox studio. The game is now released on
the roblox
platform. Over the course development period, we hired various gfx artists and 3D
modelers online to create art assets.
This is one of our more known projects by NNHS students. It's a neat scroller app game to play when
class gets boring. We used swift/xcode and even made the music with garage band. It's now released
on the app store.
We started this website back in early 2016. Then we decided to work on other projects and let it
sit
for about a year. Now we have dusted it off and are working on it again. This webpage focuses
mainly on custom css styles.
This webpage was completly revamped in September, 2019.
